Let's face it. Exercise is not pretty. There's no avoiding sweat and snot during a really good down and dirty workout. As we get into it, our heart rates rise, increasing circulation and energizing our body with fresh blood and oxygen. The physical intensity and heat probably flushes out old waste matter in our bodies so just think of the snot and sweat as a sort of "house cleaning." Just go for the burn and remember that a delicious post-workout shower will make us pretty again.
